Yadagirigutta sits on NH-163, the Hyderabad-Warangal highway, about 65 km from Uppal and a similar distance from Hyderabad's MG Bus Station. TSRTC runs regular bus services connecting the town to Hyderabad and other towns in the district.

Yadadri railway station, renamed from Raigir, is about 5 km away on the Hyderabad-Kazipet line, while Bhongir station, about 13 km off, handles express and superfast trains. The under-construction Regional Ring Road passes through the town, and a Hyderabad MMTS extension from Ghatkesar to Yadadri station is planned.

Schooling within the town is limited to a handful of local institutions, including English-medium and government schools, plus a government polytechnic college.

Families seeking a wider choice of schools or colleges typically travel to Bhongir or into Hyderabad, since Yadagirigutta itself has not developed as an education hub.

The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, dedicated to Vishnu's Narasimha avatar, crowns a hillock at the centre of the town and ranks among Telangana's most visited pilgrim sites, with thousands of devotees arriving daily. Rebuilt entirely in black stone between 2016 and 2022 under the Yadadri Temple Development Authority, the complex now spans about 16 acres and includes seven gopurams, a kalyana mandapam and the Vishnu Gundam bathing tank.

Bhongir Fort, a hilltop fortification, lies within driving distance.

Temple redevelopment reshaped the town's infrastructure, adding a new bus stand spread over 15 acres and wider approach roads built to handle daily pilgrim traffic.

The Yadadri Temple Development Authority acquired close to 1,900 acres for the temple precinct and allied development, and built housing near the Vishnu Gundam bathing tank for staff and visitors.
