Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains, in plain English, when a payment made to ROI India Private Limited ("Realty of India", "we", "us") for a paid product on www.realtyofindia.com can be cancelled or refunded, and how to ask. It applies to every paid product on the platform — including ROI Verified subscriptions and seat plans, and advertising — and forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable law.

I. Subscriptions & Seat Plans

  1. Subscriptions and seat plans are prepaid for a fixed period (for example, 30 days). You pay in advance, and the plan runs for the period you bought.
  2. Once the subscribed period has started, the fee for that period is non-refundable — except in the cases below.
  3. Duplicate payment: if you are charged more than once for the same purchase, we refund the duplicate amount in full.
  4. Payment captured but service not activated: if your payment is captured but the service is not activated within forty-eight (48) hours and our reconciliation process fails to grant it, we refund the payment in full.
  5. Statutory rights: your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and any other applicable law are not waived by this policy or by making a payment. Where the law entitles you to a remedy, that remedy is available to you.

II. Advertising

  1. Advertising campaigns that have not started may be refunded pro-rata at Realty of India's discretion.
  2. Advertising campaigns that have started are non-refundable.

III. How to Request a Refund

  1. Write to [email protected] within seven (7) days of the payment, or of the date you could reasonably have discovered the issue, quoting your payment reference (the Razorpay order or payment ID from your confirmation, or your invoice number).
  2. We aim to resolve every refund request within 7–10 business days.
  3. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment gateway, Razorpay. Once a refund has been instructed, the time it takes to reflect in your bank or card account depends on your bank and card network.

IV. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If something looks wrong with a payment, please contact us first at [email protected] — we resolve genuine payment failures (such as duplicate captures, or amounts captured without the service being activated) directly, without you needing to raise a dispute with your bank. This is almost always faster than a chargeback. Contacting us first does not limit your right to approach your bank or card issuer.

V. Taxes

Where a refund is granted, applicable taxes (such as GST) charged on the refunded amount are refunded proportionally along with the principal.
