Kandivali West sits on Yellow Line 2A of the Mumbai Metro, running from Dahisar East to D.N. Nagar, with the elevated Kandivali West and Dahanukarwadi stations linked by walkway to the Western Railway suburban line at Kandivali station for direct travel to Churchgate and Virar.

S.V. Road and Link Road run through as the main north-south roads, and the Western Express Highway gives quick access to Goregaon, Andheri and Bandra.
