Vrindavan Yojna sits on the Raebareli Road-Amar Shaheed Path corridor in south Lucknow. Amar Shaheed Path, a 22.5km outer bypass built in 2012, links Kanpur Road and Faizabad Road traffic around the city, while Raebareli Road connects directly to the city centre.

Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is about 15 km away. Nearby metro stations (Transport Nagar, Krishna Nagar) and railheads (Charbagh, Lucknow Junction) serve the wider area, though there is no direct metro line yet.

A planned 104 km Ring Road should further boost connectivity.

Vrindavan Yojna and its immediate surroundings host a range of CBSE and other schools, including Lucknow Public School (Sector 9), NKM School, EuroKids, Delhi Public School-Eldeco, GD Goenka School, SKD Academy and Birla Open Minds International School on Shaheed Path.

Nearby higher-education options include Sri Krishna Dutt Academy Degree College and Rajarshi Tandon Open University, with SGPGIMS, a major postgraduate medical institute, also in the vicinity.

The wider Sarojininagar development block containing Vrindavan Yojna was recorded by the 1981 Census as Lucknow district's most industrialised block, with 56 registered industrial units. Today the locality sits near Lucknow's HCL Technologies IT/industrial area.

Its biggest current industrial push is in Sector 15, where the state has approved a Rs 368 crore AI City-cum-Business Park (PPP model, for AI firms, startups, R&D and data centres) alongside a Rs 1,184 crore international convention centre.

Vrindavan Yojna itself is a residential scheme with no major heritage sites of its own, but it lies within driving distance of Lucknow's landmark attractions: Janeshwar Mishra Park in Gomti Nagar (one of Asia's largest urban parks, opened 2014, with boating and a children's play area), the iconic Bara Imambara with its Bhul Bhulaiya maze, the State Museum Lucknow (established 1863, on the Lucknow Zoo grounds), and the historic Rumi Darwaza gateway built by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula.

Local retail and leisure options include Skybac Tower and Family Megamart for shopping, and neighbourhood eateries such as Sanatan Dry Fruits and A-1 Kitchen. Green spaces include a park near Dhyan Library and a Green Zone in Sector 14.

Vrindavan Yojna is a UP Awas Vikas Parishad master-planned colony spanning multiple sub-schemes and 20+ sectors, with wide roads and green belts. Civic infrastructure includes bank branches (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, PNB, Axis) and hospitals such as Rajdhani Hospital, Scope Hospital and South City Hospital & Trauma Centre.

An upcoming 104 km Ring Road along Lucknow-Raebareli Road is planned. Some sectors still report drainage, water-supply and power-reliability gaps.
