Chittaranjan Park (CR Park) is South East Delhi's best-known Bengali cultural enclave, built from the 1950s and 60s as a resettlement colony for families displaced from East Bengal and developed by the DDA on then-undeveloped, rocky land. Today it's an established, tightly-knit residential neighbourhood of numbered blocks and pockets run largely through active resident welfare associations.
