What you will be able to do
- Tell the difference between marketing that interrupts someone and marketing that answers someone already looking.
- Decide which of the two you need this month — cash flow now, or a name people come to later.
- Place any prospect on a five-level awareness scale before you write a single line of copy.
- Diagnose why a campaign that reached thousands produced no enquiries.
- Audit your own recent posts and see which level of reader you have been ignoring.
About this course
Most brokers don't lose deals because they negotiate badly. They lose them because their marketing has no shape — a listing posted here, a paid campaign there, the same message forwarded to every WhatsApp group. That is activity, not strategy.
This course gives you the two directions marketing energy can flow in, and the framework that decides what your message should say depending on how much the reader already knows about their own problem. Once you can name what you are looking at, you stop paying to send the wrong message to the wrong person.
It is for the broker already doing the work — posting, running campaigns, chasing enquiries — who wants to know why some of it lands and most of it does not. Four short chapters, a homework task to do this week, and a reading list to go deeper.
Who this is for
Brokers who are already posting and already spending, but can't explain why one campaign brought enquiries and the next brought nothing. New agents welcome — nothing here assumes prior marketing training.
Course content
-
Fundamentals of Real Estate Marketing
Sets out why marketing, not negotiation, is where most brokers actually lose. Names the three things brokers routinely mistake for marketing, and replaces them with a single working definition. By the end you will be able to look at any piece of your own output and say whether it was a strategy or just motion.
-
Push Marketing
Push marketing puts your message in front of someone who was not looking for you. This chapter explains what interrupting a stranger actually buys you, what it costs, and the failure mode brokers hit when push is the only thing they run. By the end you will be able to look at any piece of your own marketing and say whether it is push, and whether push was the right instrument for that job.
-
Pull Marketing
Pull marketing reaches someone who is already searching for what you sell. This chapter covers what makes a pull lead different from a push lead, why it usually costs more to acquire, and why that can still be the right trade. It then sets the two side by side — an organic and a paid example of each — and closes with the combination the course argues for rather than a choice between them.
-
Five levels of awareness
A framework for deciding what a message should say based on how much the reader already understands about their own situation. The chapter walks each of the five levels and the kind of message each one can actually hear — including why the most common broker post is aimed at the smallest possible audience. It ends with a homework task and a short reading list.
