GMADA (Greater Mohali Area Development Authority) is a Government of Punjab urban development authority constituted in 2006 under the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act, 1995. It is responsible for planned development and redevelopment of areas including Mohali, Banur, Zirakpur, Dera Bassi, Kharar, Mullanpur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mandi Gobindgarh and Rupnagar, and is chaired by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
