Delete your Realty of India account
You can delete your account and personal data from inside your account settings — no email, no phone call, no questions asked.
How it works
- Request deletion — sign in, open Account & security, and choose Delete my account. (In the app: same place.)
- 14-day window — your account stays usable, and you can cancel the deletion any time in this window with one tap. Nothing is erased yet.
- Erasure — after 14 days the erasure runs automatically: your identity is anonymised and your personal data is removed, within the 15-day timeline our Privacy Policy promises.
What is deleted or anonymised
- Your name, phone number, email, password, profile photo, bio and social links
- Your government-ID verification file (the encrypted document itself is destroyed)
- Your listings (withdrawn from the site), saved items, follows, drafts, preferences and device tokens
- Messages you wrote (their content is removed from conversations)
What we keep, and why
- Tax and payment records — invoices and payment entries are kept for the statutory retention period under Indian tax law, with your identity anonymised where the law allows.
- Do-not-contact proof — if you asked us or a broker to stop contacting you, we keep that instruction so it keeps being honoured.
- Safety records — abuse reports stay on file so reports can't be erased by deleting the account they concern.
